Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026 · Brothers2Go

Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at brothers2go.com or using our coordination services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all services provided by Brothers2Go ("Brothers2Go," "we," "us," or "our") to users ("you," "client," "homeowner") across Texas. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

What Brothers2Go Does

Brothers2Go is a home project coordination platform. We connect homeowners with independent, qualified local service professionals. Brothers2Go does not directly perform construction, remodeling, installation, or repair work. The physical work on your project is performed by independent third-party service providers ("Service Providers") who are matched to your project through our platform.

Our coordination services include:

  • Receiving and reviewing your project request
  • Matching your project with qualified local Service Providers
  • Providing preliminary estimates based on market data
  • Facilitating communication between you and your Service Provider
  • Tracking project status and milestones
  • Providing a bilingual (English/Spanish) platform experience

Relationship Between Parties

Brothers2Go acts as an intermediary connecting homeowners with Service Providers. By using our platform:

  • You understand that Brothers2Go is not a licensed contractor and does not perform physical construction or remodeling work
  • Service Providers are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Brothers2Go
  • Your contractual relationship for the physical work is between you and the Service Provider
  • Brothers2Go facilitates the connection and may assist with project coordination, but is not a party to the construction agreement
  • Service Providers are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and building codes

Estimates and Quotes

Estimates provided through our website are preliminary and for informational purposes only. They are based on information you provide and standard market rates, and should not be construed as a binding contract or final price.

A detailed written quote will be provided by the assigned Service Provider after assessing the project scope. The written quote from the Service Provider constitutes the official pricing for the described work. Prices are subject to change if the project scope changes.

Project Agreements

Before any work begins, a written Project Agreement should be executed between you and the Service Provider. Brothers2Go recommends that this agreement include:

  • Detailed scope of work and specifications
  • Material selections and specifications
  • Total project price and payment schedule
  • Estimated start date and completion timeline
  • Change order procedures
  • Warranty terms provided by the Service Provider

Payment Terms

  • Payment for physical work is made directly between you and the Service Provider according to your agreement with them
  • Brothers2Go may charge a separate coordination or service fee, which will be disclosed before you agree to proceed
  • Brothers2Go does not handle, hold, or process payments intended for Service Providers unless explicitly stated
  • Any fees charged by Brothers2Go are for coordination services only

Warranties and Guarantees

  • Brothers2Go does not provide warranties on physical work. Any workmanship warranty is between you and the Service Provider
  • Brothers2Go does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of work performed by Service Providers
  • Manufacturer warranties on materials pass through to you as the homeowner
  • We encourage you to obtain warranty terms in writing from your Service Provider before work begins
  • Brothers2Go will make reasonable efforts to help resolve disputes, but is not obligated to do so

Client Responsibilities

To ensure a successful project, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your project when submitting a request
  • Provide clear and timely access to the work area
  • Remove personal belongings from work areas before work begins
  • Make timely decisions on material selections to avoid delays
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule with your Service Provider
  • Communicate concerns or change requests in writing
  • Verify the licensing and insurance of your Service Provider before work begins

Permits and Inspections

Responsibility for obtaining building permits varies by project. In some cases, Brothers2Go may assist with the permit process as part of coordination services. In other cases, the Service Provider handles permits. The responsibility for permits will be clearly stated in the project agreement. The homeowner is always responsible for obtaining any required HOA approvals or easement permissions prior to project start.

Limitation of Liability

  • Brothers2Go is not liable for the acts, omissions, or negligence of independent Service Providers
  • Brothers2Go total liability for any claim shall not exceed the coordination fees paid by you for the specific project
  • Brothers2Go is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Brothers2Go does not guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of work performed by Service Providers
  • You agree to hold Brothers2Go harmless from claims arising from the performance of work by Service Providers

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and a Service Provider, Brothers2Go will make reasonable efforts to facilitate communication and resolution. However, Brothers2Go is not a party to the contract between you and your Service Provider and is not obligated to resolve such disputes. For disputes between you and Brothers2Go regarding coordination services, both parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating legal action.
